WeSwap Selected for STARTglobal at Dublin Web Summit 2013

Using technology to make people’s lives that little bit easier is pretty much at the heart of everything we do here at WeSwap, which is why we’re absolutely thrilled to have been selected to participate in this year’s STARTglobal programme at the most anticipated tech event of the year, Dublin Web Summit.

Following in the footsteps of some of the most successful tech start ups in the world –  including Vine, Stripe, Waze and Uber –  The STARTglobal programme is a collection of 150 of the highest potential and most disruptive young companies to exchange ideas, demonstrate new technologies and build networks with some of the biggest and brightest minds in tech. We’re tremendously excited at this opportunity to meet and learn from the best, and ultimately to apply this knowledge to improve WeSwap for our customers. It’s going to be big.

If you’re planning on attending too, we’d love to meet you –  Come and see us at stand #264

Hey, we can even help you save on your trip there.

WeSwap is the world’s first person to person currency exchange for travellers. We provide our users with an online account, in which they can hold multiple currencies, and the WeSwap Prepaid Mastercard® with which they access those funds. And we enable you to move money easily and cheaply between currencies by swapping them at the interbank rate with people travelling in the opposite direction. We charge a transparent 1% fee for swaps, and if there is no swap available, you can buy the currency from us for 1.5%, which still represents seriously great value.

You can sign up and save on your Web Summit trip at WeSwap.com. And if you come and find us at our stand in the START hall, show us your WeSwap card and we’ll also give you a WeSwap luggage tag to say thank you.

If you’d like to discuss any other opportunities with WeSwap, drop Jared ([email protected]) or Simon ([email protected]) a line and we’ll arrange some time out to talk in Dublin.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
