Crowdfunding – a message from our founder

News December 12, 2016

Nearly 3000 investors in 3.5 weeks – to have so many travellers as part-owners means the world to us. Together we raised over £2.4 million in total (twice our target) and are proud to welcome the world’s No.1 tennis player as a new shareholder too.

But most of all we’re excited to have the support of so many of you.

We’re already working extensively on plans for 2017 to make sure every penny of your investment is spent as wisely as possible. We cannot wait for the input from all of our new part-owners as we look to learn, grow, develop and take the people’s currency exchange worldwide.

In the meantime, we’re working with Seedrs to wrap up the final due diligence and will be in touch with all our new shareholders very soon.

Here’s to getting stronger together,

Jared Jesner
WeSwap Founder and CEO

P.S. If you missed out on becoming a part-owner this time but would be interested in any future crowdfunding opportunities, we’d love to hear from you – please register your interest here.

The great thing about the crowdfunding round was how many real travellers got invovled and we're delgihted to have you on-board, David. 2017 is looking very exciting for everyone involved in WeSwap and that, of course, includes all of our new part-owners. Many thanks The WeSwap Team

I tried sending out a friends invite to multiple email addresses but it didn't work. Am I doing something wrong? I tried with a comma between each address - no luck. If this is not yet possible it is something to get onto as I am sure like myself many of your investors will want to bring in friends and family.
